Precious Pups places Yorkies, Shorkies, Maltese and six other small breeds with Panhandle families. Puppies stay with their breeders until they are placement-ready, the waitlist is free to join, and every family meets their puppy in person at our weekend stall in Panama City Beach.

Support after homecoming
General guidance on feeding and early care while your puppy settles into your home, and we remain available for general questions.

Rehoming through Precious Pups suits families who want a particular small breed, a known age, and a placement handled step by step. Both are good ways to bring a dog home.

No. Availability can change from week to week. Each breed carries a status of Available Now, Waitlist or Expected Soon. That can shift, so contact Precious Pups for the latest information or join the free rehoming waitlist.
No. Joining costs nothing and commits you to nothing. A placement fee applies only once a specific puppy is confirmed and being held for your family, and we tell you what that figure is before anything is reserved.
Walk-ins are welcome during weekend hours. If you're traveling a distance or want a longer conversation, an appointment is recommended so we can give you the time.
Florida law sets eight weeks as the minimum age at which a puppy may be transferred, and most small breeds settle best at eight to ten weeks. We never place a puppy earlier than the statutory minimum.
Available veterinary records and documentation shared by the puppy's care provider. Documentation may vary between puppies, and we encourage new owners to schedule a vet visit soon after homecoming.
