Small-breed puppy rehoming for Mexico Beach families

Mexico Beach sits at the eastern end of Bay County, and it is covered on exactly the same basis as the rest of our home county. Precious Pups places nine small breeds with Panhandle families, and every placement happens in person at our weekend stall at the PCB Market in Panama City Beach. We'd ask Mexico Beach families to get in touch before setting off, because availability changes from week to week, and a short conversation first means the trip happens when there's something specific worth seeing.

Puppy rehoming for Mexico Beach families

Mexico Beach is in Bay County, but it sits at the far corner of it, so the trip to the market takes a real part of the morning rather than a few minutes. That doesn't change anything about the process, but it does change the sensible order of it. Talk to us first, work out what suits your household, and travel when there's a particular puppy to meet.

The conversation covers your household rather than a catalog: hours the house is empty, ages of any children, resident pets, and the grooming you can keep up with year after year. Of the nine breeds we place, those answers usually rule several out quickly - which makes the remaining options much easier to think about, and makes a longer drive worth making.

How the process works

From first question to welcoming a puppy home

The same five steps for every family in Mexico Beach, and everywhere else in Bay County.

01

Ask about availability

Tell us the breed you have in mind, or just describe what you are looking for. There is no cost to a conversation.

02

Tell us about your household

Children, other pets, the hours the house is empty, and the grooming you can realistically keep up with.

03

Review options or join the waitlist

If a suitable puppy is ready we say so. If not, the free rehoming waitlist holds your place at no cost.

04

Plan an in-person meeting

Every family meets their puppy at the PCB Market stall before anything is decided.

05

Welcome your puppy home

A placement fee applies once a specific puppy is confirmed for your family, and we stay reachable after.

The full process is set out step by step, and the placement policy covers fees and paperwork.

Each page covers adult size, grooming and the households the breed tends to suit. Availability varies by breed and timing. Contact Precious Pups for current availability.

Current availability

Availability varies by breed and timing. Each breed carries a status rather than a promise for any given weekend, so the page is the quickest way to see where things stand before you get in touch.

Free waitlist

Joining costs nothing and commits you to nothing. A placement fee applies only once a specific puppy is confirmed and being held for your family, and available records travel home with the puppy.

Planning a visit

Meeting a puppy in person

Meetings take place at the PCB Market, 7157 US-98, Panama City Beach, on Saturday 9am to 4pm and Sunday 9am to 3pm. From Mexico Beach it's a longer coastal run than from the rest of Bay County, so please contact us before making the trip and we can discuss current options and whether a visit makes sense that weekend.

The stall runs Saturday and Sunday only, so if you work weekends tell us early and we can usually find something that works. Walk-ins are welcome during market hours, and an appointment is worth arranging if you want an unhurried conversation about a particular breed.

Family spending time with a small-breed puppy

Yes. Mexico Beach is part of Bay County and part of our area, covered on exactly the same terms as every other community we serve.

Please do. Availability changes from week to week, so a short conversation first means we can tell you which breeds are likely to be at the stall and whether a particular weekend suits.

Often, yes. From this end of the county it makes more sense to be called when something suitable is ready than to make the trip on spec. The waitlist is free.

That's exactly what the waitlist is for. Availability changes from week to week, and we'd sooner contact you at the right moment than have you travel hopefully.

No. Every family meets their puppy at the PCB Market stall before a placement goes ahead, and we don't deliver.
