Small-breed puppy rehoming for Monticello families
Monticello is the community we serve in Jefferson County, rural and east of Tallahassee, at the eastern edge of the area Precious Pups covers. We place nine small breeds, always through an in-person meeting at our weekend stall at the PCB Market in Panama City Beach. The free rehoming waitlist and a conversation are almost always a better starting point than a visit to the coast taken on spec. Availability changes from week to week, and we'd rather tell you when to come.

Puppy rehoming for Monticello families
Monticello is a long way from the stall and we'd sooner be honest about that than imply otherwise. The waitlist exists for families in exactly this position: it costs nothing, records precisely what you're looking for, and means the journey happens when there's a specific puppy worth seeing rather than on the chance that something turns up.
The conversation beforehand is about fit. The hours nobody is home, the ages of any children, other pets, and how much grooming you can keep up with year after year. Those answers usually narrow the nine breeds we place to a short list, and a short list is a far better basis for a visit.
From first question to welcoming a puppy home
The same five steps for every family in Monticello, and everywhere else in Jefferson County.
Ask about availability
Tell us the breed you have in mind, or just describe what you are looking for. There is no cost to a conversation.
Tell us about your household
Children, other pets, the hours the house is empty, and the grooming you can realistically keep up with.
Review options or join the waitlist
If a suitable puppy is ready we say so. If not, the free rehoming waitlist holds your place at no cost.
Plan an in-person meeting
Every family meets their puppy at the PCB Market stall before anything is decided.
Welcome your puppy home
A placement fee applies once a specific puppy is confirmed for your family, and we stay reachable after.
The full process is set out step by step, and the placement policy covers fees and paperwork.
Small breeds to explore
Each page covers adult size, grooming and the households the breed tends to suit. Availability varies by breed and timing. Contact Precious Pups for current availability.

Current availability
Availability varies by breed and timing. Each breed carries a status rather than a promise for any given weekend, so the page is the quickest way to see where things stand before you get in touch.
Free waitlist
Joining costs nothing and commits you to nothing. A placement fee applies only once a specific puppy is confirmed and being held for your family, and available records travel home with the puppy.
Meeting a puppy in person
Meetings take place at the PCB Market, 7157 US-98, Panama City Beach, Saturday 9am to 4pm and Sunday 9am to 3pm. From Monticello this is the longest journey of anywhere we serve to the east. Please contact us before traveling so we can discuss current options and plan the trip together.
The stall runs Saturday and Sunday only, so if you work weekends tell us early and we can usually find something that works. Walk-ins are welcome during market hours, and an appointment is worth arranging if you want an unhurried conversation about a particular breed.

Questions from Monticello families
More general answers are on the FAQ page, and Available Puppies shows current status by breed.

Yes. Monticello sits at the eastern edge of our service area, and is covered on the same terms as everywhere else. We'd ask you to get in touch before traveling so we can plan it sensibly.
From Monticello, almost certainly. It's free, and it means we contact you when a matching puppy is placement-ready rather than inviting you to check back.
No. The weekend stall at the PCB Market in Panama City Beach is our only location, open Saturday 9am to 4pm and Sunday 9am to 3pm. The pages for other communities exist because we work with families there, not because there is a second place to visit.
A secure crate or carrier, a towel, and time for a stop. A first car ride is significant for a young puppy, and we will talk it through with you beforehand.
Always. No puppy is placed with a family who hasn't met them, and nobody is asked to decide on the day.
