Small-breed puppy rehoming for DeFuniak Springs families
DeFuniak Springs is the most inland of the Walton County communities we serve, which makes it the longest trip in the county to our weekend stall at the PCB Market in Panama City Beach. Precious Pups places nine small breeds, always through an in-person meeting. Because availability changes from week to week, we'd strongly suggest starting with a conversation and the free rehoming waitlist rather than a speculative drive to the coast.

Puppy rehoming for DeFuniak Springs families
DeFuniak Springs is the most inland of the Walton County communities we serve, and it is covered on the same terms as the coastal ones. The waitlist exists precisely for families in this position: it records what you're looking for, costs nothing, and means the journey happens once, for a specific puppy, rather than on the chance that something turns up.
Before that, the conversation is about fit. The hours nobody is home, the ages of any children, resident pets, and the grooming you can keep up with over a decade. Of the nine breeds we place, those answers usually rule several out quickly, and a shortlist is a much better basis for a visit than a full catalog.
From first question to welcoming a puppy home

Ask about availability
Tell us the breed you have in mind, or just describe what you are looking for. There is no cost to a conversation.
Tell us about your household
Children, other pets, the hours the house is empty, and the grooming you can realistically keep up with.
Review options or join the waitlist
If a suitable puppy is ready we say so. If not, the free rehoming waitlist holds your place at no cost.
Plan an in-person meeting
Every family meets their puppy at the PCB Market stall before anything is decided.
Welcome your puppy home
A placement fee applies once a specific puppy is confirmed for your family, and we stay reachable after.
The full process is set out step by step, and the placement policy covers fees and paperwork.
Small breeds to explore
Each page covers adult size, grooming and the households the breed tends to suit. Availability varies by breed and timing. Contact Precious Pups for current availability.

Current availability
Availability varies by breed and timing. Each breed carries a status rather than a promise for any given weekend, so the page is the quickest way to see where things stand before you get in touch.
Free waitlist
Joining costs nothing and commits you to nothing. A placement fee applies only once a specific puppy is confirmed and being held for your family, and available records travel home with the puppy.
Meeting a puppy in person
Meetings are at the PCB Market, 7157 US-98, Panama City Beach, Saturday 9am to 4pm and Sunday 9am to 3pm. From DeFuniak Springs this is the longest trip in Walton County, so please contact us before traveling. We'd rather plan the journey with you than have you make it speculatively.
The stall runs Saturday and Sunday only, so if you work weekends tell us early and we can usually find something that works. Walk-ins are welcome during market hours, and an appointment is worth arranging if you want an unhurried conversation about a particular breed.

Questions from DeFuniak Springs families
More general answers are on the FAQ page, and Available Puppies shows current status by breed.

Yes, though it's the longest trip in Walton County to our stall. We'd ask you to get in touch before traveling so we can plan it sensibly.
From DeFuniak Springs, almost certainly. It's free, and it means we contact you when a specific puppy matching your household is placement-ready.
No. The weekend stall at the PCB Market in Panama City Beach is our only location, open Saturday 9am to 4pm and Sunday 9am to 3pm. The pages for other communities exist because we work with families there, not because there is a second place to visit.
A secure crate or carrier, a towel, and time for a stop. A first car ride is a lot for a young puppy, and we will go through it with you before you come.
It's possible, which is why we ask you to call first. Nobody is pressured into a placement, and we'd sooner you went home without a puppy than with the wrong one.
