Small-breed puppy rehoming for Port St. Joe families
Port St Joe is the main community we serve in Gulf County, along the coast east of Panama City Beach. Precious Pups places nine small breeds with Panhandle families, always through a conversation about your household followed by an in-person meeting at our weekend stall at the PCB Market. The coastal run west is manageable, though availability changes from week to week, so we'd ask Port St Joe families to get in touch first rather than driving over on the strength of a page.

Puppy rehoming for Port St. Joe families
The trip from Port St Joe is a coastal one heading west, and reasonable enough that a second visit is realistic if you want one. What we'd ask is a call first - we can't promise a specific breed will be at the stall on a given weekend, and a short conversation prevents a wasted Saturday.
What we cover is your household rather than a list. The hours nobody is home, the ages of any children, whether a cat or dog already lives with you, and the grooming you can keep up with over a decade. Those answers narrow nine breeds to a shortlist far more usefully than browsing does.

Small breeds to explore
Each page covers adult size, grooming and the households the breed tends to suit. Availability varies by breed and timing. Contact Precious Pups for current availability.

Current availability
Availability varies by breed and timing. Each breed carries a status rather than a promise for any given weekend, so the page is the quickest way to see where things stand before you get in touch.
Free waitlist
Joining costs nothing and commits you to nothing. A placement fee applies only once a specific puppy is confirmed and being held for your family, and available records travel home with the puppy.
Meeting a puppy in person
Meetings happen at the PCB Market, 7157 US-98, Panama City Beach, open Saturday 9am to 4pm and Sunday 9am to 3pm. We've no location in Gulf County, so please contact us before traveling.
The stall runs Saturday and Sunday only, so if you work weekends tell us early and we can usually find something that works. Walk-ins are welcome during market hours, and an appointment is worth arranging if you want an unhurried conversation about a particular breed.

The flat-faced breeds struggle most in heat and humidity, the Pug especially and the Shih Tzu to a lesser extent. If your home lacks reliable cooling, that's worth raising early.
