Small-breed puppy rehoming for Wewahitchka families
Wewahitchka is the inland community we serve in Gulf County, north of the coast, which makes the trip to our weekend stall at the PCB Market a different journey from the coastal Gulf communities. Precious Pups places nine small breeds through conversation and an in-person meeting rather than a listing. Because availability changes from week to week, the practical first step is to tell us what you're looking for so we can be honest about the timing.

Puppy rehoming for Wewahitchka families
Wewahitchka sits inland rather than on the coast. Families here are welcome on exactly the same basis as anyone else, but we'd much rather plan the trip with you than have you make it speculatively.
The questions we start with are about your household. How long the house sits empty on a weekday, the ages of any children, other pets, and how much grooming you can genuinely keep up with. Several breeds we place need professional clipping every few weeks indefinitely, and it's much better to know that before a decision.
From first question to welcoming a puppy home
The same five steps for every family in Wewahitchka, and everywhere else in Gulf County.
Ask about availability
Tell us the breed you have in mind, or just describe what you are looking for. There is no cost to a conversation.
Tell us about your household
Children, other pets, the hours the house is empty, and the grooming you can realistically keep up with.
Review options or join the waitlist
If a suitable puppy is ready we say so. If not, the free rehoming waitlist holds your place at no cost.
Plan an in-person meeting
Every family meets their puppy at the PCB Market stall before anything is decided.
Welcome your puppy home
A placement fee applies once a specific puppy is confirmed for your family, and we stay reachable after.
The full process is set out step by step, and the placement policy covers fees and paperwork.
Small breeds to explore
Each page covers adult size, grooming and the households the breed tends to suit. Availability varies by breed and timing. Contact Precious Pups for current availability.

Current availability
Availability varies by breed and timing. Each breed carries a status rather than a promise for any given weekend, so the page is the quickest way to see where things stand before you get in touch.
Free waitlist
Joining costs nothing and commits you to nothing. A placement fee applies only once a specific puppy is confirmed and being held for your family, and available records travel home with the puppy.
Meeting a puppy in person
Meetings are at the PCB Market, 7157 US-98, Panama City Beach, Saturday 9am to 4pm and Sunday 9am to 3pm. From Wewahitchka the trip runs southwest toward the coast. There's no Precious Pups location in Gulf County, so contact us before traveling.
The stall runs Saturday and Sunday only, so if you work weekends tell us early and we can usually find something that works. Walk-ins are welcome during market hours, and an appointment is worth arranging if you want an unhurried conversation about a particular breed.

Questions from Wewahitchka families
More general answers are on the FAQ page, and Available Puppies shows current status by breed.

Yes. It's the inland Gulf County community we serve, alongside Port St Joe and Cape San Blas on the coast.
Adult size, the grooming commitment over years rather than weeks, how the breed copes with the hours your house is empty, and what records come with the puppy. Those four answers decide more than a preference does.
No. Asking about breeds, grooming or timing costs nothing, and the rehoming waitlist is free with no obligation. Most families have a conversation or two before they decide anything, and we would rather answer the awkward questions early than have a puppy come back.
The Chihuahua is lightest - weekly brushing is generally enough. The Pug is straightforward too, though it sheds more. The coated breeds all need considerably more work.
