Small-breed puppy rehoming for Crestview families

Crestview is the inland community we serve in Okaloosa County, north of the coastal corridor, and it is covered on exactly the same terms as the coastal communities. Precious Pups places nine small breeds with Panhandle families, always through an in-person meeting at the PCB Market in Panama City Beach. Because of the distance and because availability changes from week to week, the sensible first step for Crestview families is a conversation rather than a drive. Tell us what you're looking for and we'll be honest about timing.

Puppy rehoming for Crestview families

Crestview's position inland makes this one of the longer journeys in Okaloosa County - you're heading south to the coast before turning east, rather than running straight along it. Families here are very welcome, but we'd sooner plan the trip with you than have you make it speculatively.

The conversation covers the household first. How long the house is empty on a normal weekday, the ages of any children, resident pets, and the grooming commitment you can sustain over a decade. Of the nine breeds we place, several are wrong for a house that's empty all day and several carry a permanent professional grooming cost. Working that out beforehand is what makes a visit worth making.

How the process works

From first question to welcoming a puppy home

The same five steps for every family in Crestview, and everywhere else in Okaloosa County.

01

Ask about availability

Tell us the breed you have in mind, or just describe what you are looking for. There is no cost to a conversation.

02

Tell us about your household

Children, other pets, the hours the house is empty, and the grooming you can realistically keep up with.

03

Review options or join the waitlist

If a suitable puppy is ready we say so. If not, the free rehoming waitlist holds your place at no cost.

04

Plan an in-person meeting

Every family meets their puppy at the PCB Market stall before anything is decided.

05

Welcome your puppy home

A placement fee applies once a specific puppy is confirmed for your family, and we stay reachable after.

The full process is set out step by step, and the placement policy covers fees and paperwork.

Each page covers adult size, grooming and the households the breed tends to suit. Availability varies by breed and timing. Contact Precious Pups for current availability.

Current availability

Availability varies by breed and timing. Each breed carries a status rather than a promise for any given weekend, so the page is the quickest way to see where things stand before you get in touch.

Free waitlist

Joining costs nothing and commits you to nothing. A placement fee applies only once a specific puppy is confirmed and being held for your family, and available records travel home with the puppy.

Planning a visit

Meeting a puppy in person

All meetings are at the PCB Market, 7157 US-98, Panama City Beach, Saturday 9am to 4pm and Sunday 9am to 3pm. From Crestview the trip runs south to the coast and then east, so it's longer than from the beach communities. Contact us before setting out and we can discuss current options and whether the visit makes sense that weekend.

The stall runs Saturday and Sunday only, so if you work weekends tell us early and we can usually find something that works. Walk-ins are welcome during market hours, and an appointment is worth arranging if you want an unhurried conversation about a particular breed.

Family spending time with a small-breed puppy

Yes. Crestview is the inland community we serve in Okaloosa County, and it is covered on the same terms as the coastal ones.

Available veterinary records and documentation shared by the puppy's care provider travel home with your puppy, passed on as they are. We tell you what is and is not included before you commit, and we recommend a visit to your own veterinarian soon after.

For most Crestview families, yes. The waitlist is free, records what you're looking for, and means we call you when a matching puppy is placement-ready.

No. The weekend stall at the PCB Market in Panama City Beach is our only location, open Saturday 9am to 4pm and Sunday 9am to 3pm. The pages for other communities exist because we work with families there, not because there is a second place to visit.

Available veterinary records and documentation shared by the puppy's care provider, general early-care guidance, and our availability for questions afterwards. We encourage a visit to your own veterinarian soon after.
