Small-breed puppy rehoming for Destin families

Destin sits in Okaloosa County, along the coastal corridor west of our weekend stall at the PCB Market in Panama City Beach. The stall is on US-98 in Panama City Beach, and we would ask families to get in touch before traveling. Precious Pups places nine small breeds through conversation and an in-person meeting rather than a listing, and availability changes from week to week. Telling us what you're looking for is a better first step than checking a page and driving over hopefully.

Puppy rehoming for Destin families

Destin is one of the four Okaloosa County communities with a page of its own, and it is served on exactly the same terms as the others. A visit is worth planning rather than dropping in on, because availability changes from week to week. Plarand. Families who call first tend to have a much better experience: we can say what is likely to be at the stall, suggest a quieter arrival time, and be straight if a particular weekend is the wrong one.

Before breeds come up we ask about your household. Hours the house is empty, ages of any children, other pets, and the grooming you can realistically keep up with. Those answers matter more than a preference formed from photographs - a Maltese in a home that's empty ten hours a day is a poor match however appealing the puppy, and we'd rather say so.

How the process works

From first question to welcoming a puppy home

The same five steps for every family in Destin, and everywhere else in Okaloosa County.

01

Ask about availability

Tell us the breed you have in mind, or just describe what you are looking for. There is no cost to a conversation.

02

Tell us about your household

Children, other pets, the hours the house is empty, and the grooming you can realistically keep up with.

03

Review options or join the waitlist

If a suitable puppy is ready we say so. If not, the free rehoming waitlist holds your place at no cost.

04

Plan an in-person meeting

Every family meets their puppy at the PCB Market stall before anything is decided.

05

Welcome your puppy home

A placement fee applies once a specific puppy is confirmed for your family, and we stay reachable after.

The full process is set out step by step, and the placement policy covers fees and paperwork.

Breeds to explore

Small breeds to explore

Each page covers adult size, grooming and the households the breed tends to suit. Availability varies by breed and timing. Contact Precious Pups for current availability.

Current availability

Availability varies by breed and timing. Each breed carries a status rather than a promise for any given weekend, so the page is the quickest way to see where things stand before you get in touch.

Free waitlist

Joining costs nothing and commits you to nothing. A placement fee applies only once a specific puppy is confirmed and being held for your family, and available records travel home with the puppy.

Planning a visit

Meeting a puppy in person

Meetings happen at the PCB Market, 7157 US-98, Panama City Beach, open Saturday 9am to 4pm and Sunday 9am to 3pm. We've no location in Destin or anywhere else in Okaloosa County, so please contact us before making the trip.

The stall runs Saturday and Sunday only, so if you work weekends tell us early and we can usually find something that works. Walk-ins are welcome during market hours, and an appointment is worth arranging if you want an unhurried conversation about a particular breed.

Family spending time with a small-breed puppy

Yes. Destin is part of Okaloosa County and part of the area we serve, though every placement happens at our stall in Panama City Beach.

No. The weekend stall at the PCB Market in Panama City Beach is our only location. Every family meets their puppy there, whichever community they are coming from, and there is no office or shop anywhere else in the Panhandle.

We would recommend it. We cannot promise a specific breed will be at the stall on a given weekend, and a conversation first lets us tell you what to expect.

Most of them, honestly - all nine are small breeds and none needs a yard. The Chihuahua, Maltese and Toy Poodle are particularly suited to compact living. Noise is worth considering too, and we can talk that through.

Yes, and it carries no obligation. A placement fee applies only when a specific puppy is confirmed and being held for your family.
