Small-breed puppy rehoming for Apalachicola families
Apalachicola is one of four small coastal communities Precious Pups serves in Franklin County. Coverage here is real: families get the same conversation about their household, the same in-person meeting at our weekend stall at the PCB Market in Panama City Beach, and the same free rehoming waitlist as anywhere else in the Panhandle. Availability changes from week to week, so a conversation before you visit is the sensible starting point.

Puppy rehoming for Apalachicola families
Franklin County's communities are small and strung along the coast, and Apalachicola is a real drive west from the market. That doesn't change the process at all, but it does mean the order matters: talk to us, work out what suits your household, and travel when there's a particular puppy worth meeting.
The conversation covers fit rather than preference. Hours the house is empty, ages of any children, resident pets, and the grooming commitment you can sustain. Of the nine small breeds we place, those answers usually narrow things to a shortlist - and a shortlist is what makes a longer drive worthwhile.
From first question to welcoming a puppy home
The same five steps for every family in Apalachicola, and everywhere else in Franklin County.
Ask about availability
Tell us the breed you have in mind, or just describe what you are looking for. There is no cost to a conversation.
Tell us about your household
Children, other pets, the hours the house is empty, and the grooming you can realistically keep up with.
Review options or join the waitlist
If a suitable puppy is ready we say so. If not, the free rehoming waitlist holds your place at no cost.
Plan an in-person meeting
Every family meets their puppy at the PCB Market stall before anything is decided.
Welcome your puppy home
A placement fee applies once a specific puppy is confirmed for your family, and we stay reachable after.
The full process is set out step by step, and the placement policy covers fees and paperwork.
Small breeds to explore
Each page covers adult size, grooming and the households the breed tends to suit. Availability varies by breed and timing. Contact Precious Pups for current availability.

Current availability
Availability varies by breed and timing. Each breed carries a status rather than a promise for any given weekend, so the page is the quickest way to see where things stand before you get in touch.
Free waitlist
Joining costs nothing and commits you to nothing. A placement fee applies only once a specific puppy is confirmed and being held for your family, and available records travel home with the puppy.
Meeting a puppy in person
All meetings happen at the PCB Market, 7157 US-98, Panama City Beach, Saturday 9am to 4pm and Sunday 9am to 3pm. We've no location in Franklin County, so please contact us before making the trip.
The stall runs Saturday and Sunday only, so if you work weekends tell us early and we can usually find something that works. Walk-ins are welcome during market hours, and an appointment is worth arranging if you want an unhurried conversation about a particular breed.

Yes. Availability changes week to week, and a conversation first means we can tell you whether the trip is worth making that weekend.
Yes, with no obligation. A placement fee applies only once a specific puppy is confirmed and being held for your family, and you will know that figure before anything is reserved. Until then the waitlist simply means we contact you when a match comes up.
Yes, and it's often useful. Seeing how a puppy responds to your children tells you something a description can't, so long as handling stays gentle.
