Small-breed puppy rehoming for Carrabelle families

Carrabelle is a small Franklin County community on the coast, and among the more distant places Precious Pups serves. The process here is identical to everywhere else: a conversation about your household, an in-person meeting at our weekend stall at the PCB Market in Panama City Beach, and a decision only when fit and timing are both right. Because availability changes from week to week, we'd suggest starting with a conversation and the free rehoming waitlist rather than a speculative drive.

Puppy rehoming for Carrabelle families

Carrabelle sits toward the eastern end of the Franklin coast, which makes it one of the longer runs west to the market. We'd much rather be straightforward about that than imply a short trip. The waitlist is the tool that makes distance workable - it means the journey happens once, at the right moment, for a specific puppy.

Before that we'd talk about your household: the hours nobody is home, the ages of any children, other pets, and the grooming you can keep up with over years rather than weeks. Those answers do most of the work of choosing a breed, and they matter more than which puppies are at the stall on any one weekend.

How the process works

From first question to welcoming a puppy home

The same five steps for every family in Carrabelle, and everywhere else in Franklin County.

01

Ask about availability

Tell us the breed you have in mind, or just describe what you are looking for. There is no cost to a conversation.

02

Tell us about your household

Children, other pets, the hours the house is empty, and the grooming you can realistically keep up with.

03

Review options or join the waitlist

If a suitable puppy is ready we say so. If not, the free rehoming waitlist holds your place at no cost.

04

Plan an in-person meeting

Every family meets their puppy at the PCB Market stall before anything is decided.

05

Welcome your puppy home

A placement fee applies once a specific puppy is confirmed for your family, and we stay reachable after.

The full process is set out step by step, and the placement policy covers fees and paperwork.

Each page covers adult size, grooming and the households the breed tends to suit. Availability varies by breed and timing. Contact Precious Pups for current availability.

Current availability

Availability varies by breed and timing. Each breed carries a status rather than a promise for any given weekend, so the page is the quickest way to see where things stand before you get in touch.

Free waitlist

Joining costs nothing and commits you to nothing. A placement fee applies only once a specific puppy is confirmed and being held for your family, and available records travel home with the puppy.

Planning a visit

Meeting a puppy in person

Meetings take place at the PCB Market, 7157 US-98, Panama City Beach, Saturday 9am to 4pm and Sunday 9am to 3pm. From Carrabelle it's a longer coastal drive west. Contact us before traveling and we can discuss current options and whether a visit makes sense that weekend.

The stall runs Saturday and Sunday only, so if you work weekends tell us early and we can usually find something that works. Walk-ins are welcome during market hours, and an appointment is worth arranging if you want an unhurried conversation about a particular breed.

Family spending time with a small-breed puppy

Yes. Carrabelle is one of the four Franklin County communities we serve, alongside Apalachicola, Eastpoint and St George Island. The free waitlist is usually the better starting point, because it means we contact you when a puppy matching your household is placement-ready rather than asking you to check back.

For most Carrabelle families, yes. It is free, it commits you to nothing, and it means we get in touch when a specific puppy matching your household is placement-ready, rather than leaving you to guess which weekend is the right one.

Usually. It costs nothing, commits you to nothing, and means we contact you when a puppy matching your household is placement-ready rather than asking you to check back.

No. Every family meets their puppy at the PCB Market stall before a placement goes ahead, and we do not deliver or ship. Meeting the puppy is how a family finds out whether the temperament suits their household, which is the whole point of doing it in person.

That's fine. Ask your questions now and join the waitlist when the timing is closer - there's no pressure at either end.
