Small-breed puppy rehoming for St. George Island families
St George Island is a barrier island community in Franklin County, reached by causeway from Eastpoint, and one of the more distant places Precious Pups serves. Coverage is genuine rather than nominal, and the process is the same as everywhere else: a conversation about your household, an in-person meeting at our weekend stall at the PCB Market in Panama City Beach, and no decision before you're ready. Availability changes from week to week, so a conversation and the free waitlist beat a speculative drive.

Puppy rehoming for St. George Island families
Getting to the market from the island means the causeway and then a long coastal run west, so this is a planned day rather than an errand. We'd much rather arrange it with you than have you set out hoping something suitable is at the stall.
The conversation covers the household: hours nobody is home, ages of any children, other pets, and the grooming you can sustain over a decade. Island living suits most of the breeds we place, since none of them needs a yard, but heat is worth thinking about carefully, particularly for the flat-faced breeds.

Current availability
Availability varies by breed and timing. Each breed carries a status rather than a promise for any given weekend, so the page is the quickest way to see where things stand before you get in touch.
Free waitlist
Joining costs nothing and commits you to nothing. A placement fee applies only once a specific puppy is confirmed and being held for your family, and available records travel home with the puppy.
Meeting a puppy in person
Every family meets their puppy at the PCB Market, 7157 US-98, Panama City Beach, Saturday 9am to 4pm and Sunday 9am to 3pm. From St George Island that means the causeway and a long coastal drive west, so please contact us before traveling and we can plan it together.
The stall runs Saturday and Sunday only, so if you work weekends tell us early and we can usually find something that works. Walk-ins are welcome during market hours, and an appointment is worth arranging if you want an unhurried conversation about a particular breed.

Questions from St. George Island families
More general answers are on the FAQ page, and Available Puppies shows current status by breed.

Yes. It's one of the four Franklin County communities we serve, and among the most distant from our stall.
The flat-faced breeds struggle most, the Pug especially and the Shih Tzu to a lesser extent. The Yorkie, Maltese and Toy Poodle manage better, though every small dog needs shade, water and walks at the cooler ends of the day.
The flat-faced breeds struggle most - the Pug especially. If your home doesn't have reliable cooling, that's worth discussing before you settle on a breed.
Very much so. It is free, it commits you to nothing, and it means we contact you when a specific puppy matching your household is placement-ready. That is more useful than any status on a page, because availability moves week to week.
No. Every family meets their puppy in person at the market before a placement goes ahead.
